Sometimes I find it hard to recollect,
the things we did before we were just friends.
It seems that if I had my time again,
I'd try harder to avoid a sticky end.
Once was bad enough.

I play the scene over, over again,
that led to us becoming more than friends.
I know now what I should have known back then,
